He gave me the confidence to not be afraid, to hear other people, and to not old ideas. He was a longshoreman, a very simple guy, but a very optimistic, positive person, and he was curious about things from everywhere. My father played an extraordinary role in my life. What in your background or your upbringing enabled you to think like that? You’ve been successful in very different disciplines.
